The Twist Back Sweep does not appear to be directly addressed in the provided transcripts. Instructor 1 from Skyhook Martial Arts & Fitness covers three no-gi leg sweeps—Deyashi Hirai (advancing foot sweep), Osotogari (major outside reap), and Sasaya Ashi (propping foot sweep)—all executed from an inside wheel clinch with head control. These techniques emphasize footwork, weight distribution, and synchronized head and arm manipulation to unbalance the opponent. Instructor 2 from welcomematstevescott teaches Ude Gaeshi, an arm reversal roll throw performed from a two-on-one control, involving wrist trapping and elbow manipulation to throw the opponent backward—a Yoko Tsutimiwaza (side sacrifice throw). While both instructors demonstrate classical judo and submission grappling mechanics, neither explicitly labels or instructs a technique identified as 'Twist Back Sweep.' The transcripts may represent related sweeping principles but lack the specific nomenclature or execution details required to synthesize instruction on the named technique.

The Twist Back Sweep is a 10th Planet sweep documented in Mastering the Rubber Guard — a sweep that uses rotational mechanics from half guard or rubber guard. (Bravo, Mastering the Rubber Guard, 2006)
You need an inside wheel clinch with one hand up and one hand on the inside of the bicep, according to Skyhook Martial Arts & Fitness. Bury your head to protect against wild punches and maintain solid control.
Push your opponent with your elbow on the chest to prompt them to take a step, or alternatively pull the head while lifting the arm as if trying to put their shoulder into their ear, as demonstrated by Skyhook Martial Arts & Fitness.
Step to the outside of your opponent's pinky side, swing your leg back as you turn around, and bring them with you, according to Skyhook Martial Arts & Fitness. This footwork transition is important for the technique to work effectively.
