Contributions: Technique edits, video suggestions, and votes are retained as part of the encyclopedia's content history. Deleted accounts will have contributions anonymized.

Usage Logs: We retain server logs for up to 90 days for debugging and analytics purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Third parties who help us operate our services (hosting, authentication, analytics)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

Our services contain embedded YouTube videos and links to third-party websites. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) for embeds. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. YouTube API Services and Google

Fight Encyclopedia uses YouTube API Services to discover, fetch, and display video metadata (titles, channel names, descriptions, durations, thumbnails, and upload dates) for the videos we link to on our technique pages. By using Fight Encyclopedia, you acknowledge that this functionality is provided by YouTube and Google.

Your use of Fight Encyclopedia is therefore subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You may review and manage the data Google collects about your account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

11. YouTube Data We Cache and How Long

Public video metadata fetched via YouTube API Services (title, channel name, description, duration, upload date, thumbnail URL) is cached in our database to power technique pages. We refresh this cached metadata on a rolling schedule and remove cached records that we have not successfully refreshed within 30 calendar days, in accordance with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

If you are a video uploader, channel owner, or rightsholder and you would like us to delete cached metadata for one or more of your videos, email [email protected] with the YouTube video URL(s) and your relationship to the content. We will remove the cached data within 7 calendar days of receipt.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
