This was an interesting magazine to deal with as an author with no fame... the editor was slow to respond, slow to publish even when the article was accepted and even slower to pay the very modest fee after publication. Boys and Girls, the life of a free-lance writer was anything but rosy or lucrative for most of those in that racket!
